So What is the difference between clear and set honey?

The higher the fructose content, the longer the honey will remain liquid. Some honeys contain more glucose than fructose and, therefore, are very likely to crystallise swiftly.

There is no difference in the taste or nutritional value of these two states. Honey can be restored to a liquid state by standing it in warm water for an hour or so.

Honey is much more than just a sweetener. It has been used for centuries for healing and rejuvenation. Most of the honey sold in the big stores has been heated and pasturized. This processing destroys many of the enzymes and beneficial compounds that make raw honey so nutritious. Regular honey often looks clear and syrupy. Raw honey has not been treated with heat, it is often more buttery, solid and opaque than pasteurized honey.

It is completely left in its natural state and therefore contains pollen, enzymes, antioxidants and many other beneficial compounds.

If you have been wondering where to buy honey local then why not try ours from Bizzy Bee Apiaries.

So What is the difference in Soft Set ( Creamed ) honey?

Some honeys contain more glucose than fructose and, therefore, are very likely to crystallise swiftly. This is Crystalised honey that has been churned into a buttery very soft nice textured honey its has churned for a round four days to brake the crystals down to be turned into a thick  creamed smooth tasting honey
